Newly-formed NHL ice hockey franchise the Vegas Golden Knights has entered into a partnership with the D Las Vegas casino in Nevada, US.
The deal will run for six years, from the team’s inaugural NHL season in 2017-18 until 2022-23.
D Las Vegas will serve as the official Downtown Las Vegas partner of the Knights and work in partnership with the franchise on a series of activations.
Joint initiatives will include an annual fan festival in Downtown Las Vegas during the off-season, player appearances and merchandise pop-ups at the D Las Vegas, as well as the opportunity for fans to purchase match tickets at the casino.
In addition, the D Las Vegas will make a donation of $100,000 (€89,600) to the team’s Vegas Golden Knight Foundation initiative.
