NFL’s Buccaneers agree community-focused partnership

Florida-based electronics manufacturer Jabil has entered into a partnership with NFL American football franchise the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Jabil will work with the Buccaneers on a series of community initiatives.

Jabil will serve as title sponsor of the ‘Treasure Chests Finish at the 50: 5k, 10k Fun Run & Corporate challenge’, the team’s marquee cancer awareness event.

The franchise will also support company with its own ongoing community-based programs, including working with the All Children’s Hospital Institute for Brain Protection Services and the American Heart Association.

In addition, staff from both Jabil and the Buccaneers will take part in hands-on service projects that focus on improving environmental issues specific to the Tampa Bay area of Florida.
