Polish pay-television operator NC Plus has acquired rights for the Volleyball Champions League European club competition.
The exclusive rights will cover two seasons of the men’s and women’s tournaments, from 2018-19 to 2019-20.
NC Plus will show all games from the league on its various channels – Canal Plus, Canal Plus Sport, Canal Plus Sport 2 and nSport Plus – as well as on the NC Plus Go and Canal Plus Sport Online platforms.
NC Plus has dislodged long-term rights-holder, pay-television broadcaster Polsat, by striking the deal with the CEV, the sport’s European governing body. Just days ago, Polsat acquired rights for football’s Uefa Champions League and Europa League European club competitions.
