Polish pay-television operator NC Plus has acquired rights to motorsport series the World Rally Championship.
The deal agreed with the WRC’s commercial rights-holder, WRC Promoter, was struck ahead of the weekend’s Rally Poland event and will run through until the end of the 2018 season.
NC Plus will show at least one live Sunday stage from each round, an hour-long post-event highlights show and the pre-event magazine preview programme across its Canal Plus, Canal Plus Sport, Canal Plus Sport 2 and NSport Plus channels.
Belgium’s Thierry Neuville claimed his third victory of the season as the 2017 Rally Poland concluded yesterday (Sunday). Polish public-service broadcaster TVP also granted extensive coverage to the eighth round of the season.
