US car hire company National Car Rental has secured a five-year extension, from 2015 to 2019, to its commercial agreement with golf’s PGA of America.
The deal covers the PGA Championship major tournament and the associated Senior PGA Championship as well as the 2016 and 2018 Ryder Cups. National Car Rental will also serve as the title sponsor of the PGA Assistant Championship and a founding partner of the Women’s PGA Championship.
As it has since it first became associated with the PGA in 2012, National Rental Car will continue to support the PGA Reach charitable foundation.
Under the new deal, National Car Rental will also serve as the title sponsor of the returning PGA Pro-Am Series, which will run from March to October.
