North American Major League Baseball team the Chicago White Sox has entered into a partnership with craft brewery the Goose Island Beer Company.
Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Goose Island will now serve as the official craft beer of the White Sox.
Goose Island will receive branding exposure on various surfaces inside and outside the team’s Guaranteed Rate Field ballpark.
The agreement also includes video assets such as a presence on video boards, as well as promotions in the ballpark and branding along the concourse.
Goose Island will also feature in market retail promotions that include digital activations with official White Sox social media channels throughout the 2018 season.
White Sox fans will also have access to a special Goose Island tailgate event at Guaranteed Rate Field, while Goose Island has agreed to support the team’s various charities through the corporate partners programme.
