French tyre manufacturer Michelin has renewed its title sponsorship of the Australian round of the MotoGP motorcycling championship.
The 2018 Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will take place from October 26-28 at Victoria’s Phillip Island Circuit.
Michelin is MotoGP’s official tyre supplier and 2018 will mark its third year as title sponsor of the Australian Grand Prix.
Michelin replaced Italian generator manufacturer Pramac as the event’s title sponsor in 2016. The company agreed the new deal with Dorna Sports, MotoGP’s commercial rights-holder.
