Mamamia, an Australian women’s lifestyle website, has sealed a deal to show the Women’s Big Bash League Twenty20 cricket tournament.
Mamamia will carry Cricket Australia’s live digital coverage of all 47 matches at this year’s tournament.
In addition, one highlights video of each match will be shared across Mamamia’s website and social media channels. Mamamia will also work with Cricket Australia to create “compelling content… and help to firmly establish cricket as a real career choice for women.”
Mamamia struck the agreement directly with Cricket Australia.
Commercial broadcaster Ten will show live coverage of 12 matches during this year’s tournament.
