UAE-based broadcaster Sharjah Sports has agreed a rights deal with the Liga ACB, the top division of basketball in Spain.
The deal grants Sharjah Sports rights to the league and the Copa del Rey cup competition in 23 countries across the Middle East and North Africa.
The agreement was brokered by the MP & Silva agency and covers the remainder of the 2017-18 season. Sharjah Sports will broadcast two games per week.
The deal covers Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, Djibouti, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia and the UAE.
