Waterproof smartphone case manufacturer LifeProof has agreed a deal to sponsor the World Surf League.
The deal will cover North American events in 2018, as well as the season opener, the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast in Australia.
LifeProof will have a presence at six Tour stops and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the events.
The company will serve as the protective phone case partner of this year’s North American events, and the exclusive protective case partner of the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast, which runs from March 11-22.
The events covered by the deal are: Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast; Founders’ Cup of Surfing in Lemoore, California; US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California; Surf Ranch Lemoore; Hawaiian Women’s Pro; and Billabong Pipe Masters in Oahu, Hawaii.
