The Learfield Sports agency has agreed a multimedia rights partnership with the Atlantic 10 Conference US college sports organisation and also renewed a deal with Eastern Kentucky University (EKU).
Terms of the Atlantic 10 agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that the deal is a multi-year partnership that will begin in the 2017-18 academic year.
Learfield will now hold exclusive multimedia rights to the Atlantic 10 men’s and women’s basketball championships, as well as all 19 Olympic sport championship events.
The agreement covers publishing, naming, sponsorship, signage and radio rights, all of which will be managed by the Learfield A-10 Sports Properties team.
Meanwhile, Learfield has also extended a rights partnership with EKU through to June 2027.
Learfield will retain its role as the exclusive corporate sponsorship sales partner and multimedia rights holder of the EKU athletics department.
The deal includes the management of rights related to television, digital, signage, corporate sponsorship and radio.
