Lacoste extends long-running French Open partnership

French clothing company Lacoste has renewed its partnership with the French Open grand slam tennis tournament.

Lacoste’s new long-term deal with the French Tennis Federation (FFT) will run until 2025.

Lacoste has sponsored the tournament since 1971. The company’s founder, René Lacoste, won the French Open three times in the 1920s.

Lacoste serves as an official partner of the French Open alongside Engie, Longines and Perrier.

The 2018 French Open concluded at the weekend, with Rafael Nadal and Simona Halep (pictured) picking up the singles titles.
