Inter partners with Nilox, Roma signs Kimbo deal

Italian Serie A football clubs Inter Milan and AS Roma have agreed sponsorship deals with sports technology company Nilox and coffee brand Kimbo, respectively.

Nilox will serve as Inter’s first electric mobility partner for the 2017-18 season.

The company will benefit from LED advertising and promotion on the big screen at Inter’s San Siro stadium on match days. Further promotion will be provided on the club’s official website.

Products from Nilox’s DOC line, such as hoverboards, scooters, skateboards and electric bikes, will also be used as a means of transport for Inter players.

Nilox brand director Michele Betacco said: “We hope that this new partnership represents an important step for Nilox, to increase our brand recognition and awareness in our products on national and international levels. Also, we hope that this collaboration will bring synergy and future commercial opportunities.”

Kimbo, meanwhile, has signed a three-year deal with Roma to become the club’s official coffee partner. The agreement runs until the end of the 2019-20 season.

The two parties will team up on a range of promotions and competitions as part of the agreement. Kimbo will also have a presence at the Stadio Olimpico on match days, and will be promoted across the club’s media channels.

Kimbo will be the only coffee brand used by Roma players at the Stadio Olimpico and the club’s training ground.
