Infinity switches NRL allegiance to Cronulla

The Cronulla Sharks Australian National Rugby League club has struck a sponsorship deal with financial services company Infinity Group Australia.

The agreement will run for the remainder of the 2016 season and the whole of the 2017 campaign, with the possibility of extending the partnership for a further three years.

Cronulla will receive up to Aus$700,000 (€450,000/$515,000) through to the end of 2017.

The Infinity Group logo will feature on the back of the rugby league club’s playing jerseys, starting immediately.

The deal was struck just a day after the company curtailed a partnership with rival NRL club the Parramatta Eels, which has been embroiled in a salary cap scandal.
