IMG to distribute DTM’s international rights

The IMG agency has secured a deal to distribute rights to the DTM German Touring Car Championship on a global basis.

The agreement will run for two years, covering the 2018 and 2019 campaigns.

The deal, which excludes Austria, Germany and Switzerland, is part of a broader strategic partnership between IMG and DTM.

The series features 10 events, with two races per weekend. This year’s campaign, which will run from May to October, will begin and conclude in Hockenheim, Germany.

The agreement was reached with ITR, which operates DTM.
