Hull FC signs new shirt sponsor

English Super League rugby league club Hull FC has named property and development firm Goldthorpe Property Group as its new main sponsor.

Goldthorpe’s branding will feature on the front of the club’s shirts from next season as part of the agreement.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed but Hull confirmed that a six-figure, multi-year deal has been signed that marks the club’s second biggest commercial partnership in the Super League era.

Goldthorpe, which has offices in London and Hull, is an existing partner of the club and has sponsored elements of the team’s match day experience, as well as its training ground.

Peter Goldthorpe, managing director of Goldthorpe Property, said that the company would be offering Hull season ticket-holders discounts as part of the agreement.

Hull executive director James Clark said: “We’re proud to welcome a fast-growing, ambitious and nationally recognised company on board as our main club partner, that still has strong local roots in the city.

“Peter and the team have been around the club for a couple of years and this was the natural progression for their partnership with Hull FC – particularly as passionate fans of rugby league.

“They understand the values and ethos of the club and what we want to achieve over the coming years and their support for at least the next three seasons allows them to play a big part in that.”

Hull finished third in Super League this season and won the Challenge Cup for the second year running.
