Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has agreed a sponsorship deal with Argentinian Primera División football club Boca Juniors.
The two-year deal will cover the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. Huawei’s branding will feature on the sleeves of Boca’s playing jerseys as part of the agreement.
Huawei will also receive advertising exposure at the Buenos Aires club’s La Bombonera stadium and through Boca’s media channels.
In addition, the two parties will work on developing improved telecommunications services at La Bombonera.
Huawei’s extensive portfolio of football partnerships includes deals with Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.
