Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports Africa has acquired rights for the 2015 European Games multi-sport event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The deal covers 25 countries and territories and has been agreed one week before the start of the inaugural edition of the multi-sport event, which will run from June 12-28.
Fox Sports Africa will broadcast daily coverage in English and French on the Fox Sports and Fox Sports 2 channels. Coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies will also be shown.
The deal brings the total number of non-European territories broadcasting the Games to 75, reaching more than 579 million households.
