The Fox Networks Group division of media company 21st Century Fox has appointed Italo Zanzi as its new executive vice-president and managing director for sport in Asia.

Zanzi joins Fox Networks Group Asia from Italian Serie A football club AS Roma, where he served as chief executive for three-and-a-half years before resigning in June.

Zanzi will be based in Singapore and will report to Simeon Dawes, Fox Networks Group’s executive vice-president and managing director for Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Zanzi will oversee all aspects of the Fox Sports network, including production, acquisitions and marketing across the region.
