The Formula One motor-racing championship has struck new rights deals with the Advisers Media International and Saran Media agencies covering multiple markets in Europe and Asia.

Formula One has agreed a three-season extension, running from 2018 to 2020, to its partnership with Saran Media.

Under the deal, F1 will be broadcast on the S Sport Channel in Turkey, which is currently being carried on all four of the country’s major pay-television platforms – Digiturk, DSMART, Turkcell TV+ and Turk Telekom.

Formula One will maintain a number of digital rights both in Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, the agreement with AMI, running across the same three-season window, covers 19 territories in the form of: Slovenia, Croatia, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Bosnia, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Ukraine.

Coverage will be provided by a mix of free-to-air and pay-television broadcasters, while Formula One will maintain a number of digital rights in these territories.
