FIS launches tender for World Championships rights

The International Ski Federation has launched a tender process for the rights to the 2023 and 2025 editions of its Alpine and Nordic World Ski Championships.

The rights will cover 21 competitions at each edition of the Nordic Championships across the disciplines of cross country, ski jumping and Nordic combined.

The tender will also include rights to 11 competitions at the 2023 and 2025 Alpine Championships.

The FIS said that any interested parties may also include the FIS Freestyle and Snowboard World Championships as an optional component in their offer.

The 2019 Freestyle and Snowboard World Championships will take place in Park City in Utah, US, while the 2021 event will be staged in Zhangjiakou, China.

The next edition of the Alpine World Ski Championships will take place in 2019 in Åre, Sweden, while the Nordic World Ski Championships will be held in the same year at Seefeld in Austria.
