FFF opens Coupe de France rights tender

The French Football Federation has opened a tender process for domestic rights to the Coupe de France club knockout tournament.

Bids are being sought for the 2018-19 to 2021-22 editions of the competition, with a deadline of February 10 set for offers.

Terms of the tender were not disclosed, but French newspaper L’Equipe said only one package will be available covering all games.

In January 2014, public-service broadcaster France Télévisions and the Eurosport France division of the international sports broadcaster retained rights for the Coupe de France in a four-season deal running from 2014-15 to 2017-18.

Paris Saint-Germain is the reigning Coupe de France champion.
