FA teams up with LG

The English Football Association has entered into a wide-ranging partnership with consumer electronics manufacturer LG.

The three-year deal runs until 2020 and covers the FA Cup club competition, England’s men’s national teams, Wembley Stadium and St George’s Park, the FA’s national training centre.

LG will receive premium brand exposure across all rounds of the FA Cup as part of the agreement, while the company’s LG Signature range of home entertainment and home appliance products will be showcased at Club Wembley, the stadium’s premier hospitality suite.

LG will also serve as the official digital screen partner of the England men’s teams, with its digital screens to be used at Wembley and St George’s Park.

Mark Bullingham, FA Group commercial and marketing director, said: “Our partnership with LG Electronics will help us to transform our technology at both St George’s Park and Wembley Stadium to benefit both fans and players.  We spoke to all of the brands in the sector and were blown away by LG’s technology, which will help us to reinforce Wembley Stadium as the leading venue in the country for sports and entertainment events.”
