Energy drinks firm invests in Thai football

Energy drinks manufacturer Osotspa has agreed a sponsorship deal with the Football Association of Thailand.

The Bangkok Post newspaper reported that, as part of the deal, the length of which was not disclosed, Osotspa’s M-150 brand will supply the FAT with THB50m (€1.3m/$1.4m).

The Post reported that THB40m would be allocated to support the development of football in Thailand, with THB10m to be used to promote the national team and club competitions. Osotspa recently announced that it would invest THB100m in Thai football.

As part of the deal with the FAT, M-150 will serve as the title sponsor of the Thai League 2 Championship, a co-sponsor of the Thai League, a co-sponsor of the national team and a regional sponsor of this year’s M-150 Cup tournament between Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.

Various marketing campaigns and activations will be organised to promote the partnership.
