International pay-television broadcaster Eleven Sports Network has secured nationwide distribution in Belgium and has opened up to combat sports for the first time.
Eleven Sports Network’s latest multi-year distribution agreement with Belgian cable operator Telenet for its Eleven and Eleven Sports channels adds to existing deals with Voo and Proximus TV, effectively granting it a presence through the country’s three largest operators.
The channels will also continue to be available via Eleven’s digital OTT platform at www.elevensports.be.
Meanwhile, Eleven will broadcast mixed martial arts and kickboxing in Poland for the first time this month.
The Eleven Sports channel offered MMA’s M-1 Challenge 63 event on Friday, and will provide two kickboxing events from Enfusion Live: the World Championships of Kickboxing.
The first Enfusion Live event, Enfusion Live 34, which occurred on November 21 in Groningen, the Netherlands, will be broadcast on Eleven Sports on December 11. Enfusion Live 35 is on December 19 in the Belgian city of Antwerp and will be shown on Eleven Sports the same evening.
The agreement has been signed with Fighting Spirit, the exclusive distributor of M-1 Challenge and Enfusion Live broadcast rights.
