DSport picks up Bellator rights

Indian pay-television broadcaster DSport has acquired rights to the Bellator mixed martial arts series.

The deal, agreed with Electus International, a division of media company IAC, grants DSport exclusive rights to Bellator in the Indian subcontinent.

The length of the agreement was not disclosed but it is effective from this month. 

The first fight card of the 2018 season is Bellator 192: Lima vs MacDonald. The event takes place in the US city of Los Angeles and will be headlined by the world welterweight title bout between Rory MacDonald and Douglas Lima.

As well as live events, DSport will broadcast highlights packages of the series.
