DraftKings, MSG Networks claim first with fantasy broadcast

Daily fantasy sports company DraftKings has joined forces with MSG Networks, which owns and operates the MSG Network and MSG Plus US regional sports and entertainment channels, to set an apparent first with a fantasy sports-focused broadcast.

The ‘DraftKings Fantasy Live’ programme will today (Monday) feature on MSG Plus for the first time, in a parallel telecast and game call during the NBA basketball game between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers.

DraftKings Fantasy Live will broadcast on MSG Plus and also be available via MSG GO, the live streaming and video-on-demand platform operated by MSG Networks.

The show will include live analysis of fantasy sports education such as line-up building and play-by-play breakdowns.

The standard live game telecast will remain on MSG Network.

DraftKings currently serves as the official daily fantasy sports provider of MSG’s sports teams, including the Knicks and the New York Rangers NHL ice hockey franchise.
