DFB’s finances boosted by Euro 2016, but counts cost of World Cup scandal

The German Football Association (DFB) has reported a profit of €7.807m ($8.9m) for the 2016 financial year, but has admitted its finances are being affected by the ongoing scandal surrounding its successful bid for the 2006 Fifa World Cup.
