Denyer to become Perform’s sole chief executive as Slipper stands down

Perform co-founder and joint-chief executive Oliver Slipper has stepped down from his current role to take up a non-executive position on the board of the digital sports media group.

Fellow founder Simon Denyer will continue as Perform’s sole chief executive, having formed the company with Slipper when Premium TV and Inform Group merged in 2007.

Under their leadership, Perform has grown to more than 1,500 employees in 26 countries worldwide.

Slipper, who is set to pursue other opportunities in different industries, said: “Now feels like the right time for me to step aside. When I think back to some of the early days, it is quite extraordinary what we have been able to achieve – something that will always bring a smile to my face and something I am immensely proud of.

“Led by Simon and a superbly talented senior management team, Perform has an incredible chance to continue to transform the market. The breadth and range of opportunities in front of the company have never been greater.”
