Superswiss, which provides pay-television channels in the US, has expanded its partnership with the DEL, the top division of ice hockey in Germany.
The DEL and Superswiss signed an initial deal in March covering the play-offs of the 2016-17 season.
At the time, the DEL said it expected the partnership would continue and an agreement has now been struck for delayed broadcasts of games from the ongoing 2017-18 season.
The new contract commenced with reigning champion Red Bull München’s 5-1 win over against the Düsseldorf EG being broadcast on Saturday.
Superswiss channels are available on various pay-television platforms in the US, including Dish Network.
