DAZN, the OTT service operated by digital sports-media company Perform, has extended a rights deal for LaLiga Spanish football coverage in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
The renewal will cover three seasons, from 2018-19 to 2020-21.
DAZN will continue to show exclusive live coverage of every LaLiga game, including the Clásico matches between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
DAZN’s managing director of rights and distribution, Kay Dammholz, said that Perform “plans to significantly increase the importance of this great league in German-speaking countries across all platforms”.
DAZN will also show Uefa Champions League and Europa League coverage from the start of next season.
