Dafabet becomes Celtic’s new shirt sponsor as Magners branding shifts

Scottish Premiership football club Celtic has sealed a new shirt sponsorship deal with online betting company Dafabet.

The agreement will run for four years, from 2016-17 to 2019-20.

The company already sponsors English Premier League clubs Everton, Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion.

Dafabet’s managing director of online betting and gaming, added: “We continually aim to increase our presence in football and to now feature on the front of one of the most famous shirts in football, is another huge step forward for us.”

Cider brand Magners, which extended its sponsorship deal with Celtic last week, will feature on the rear of the players’ shirts from the start of next season, shifting from a front-of-shirt placement.

The Magners agreement will run for four seasons, from 2016-17 to 2019-20, with the company having already supported the club for the past three campaigns.
