Canadian Hockey League expands with paint partner

The Canadian Hockey League, which operates the largest development ice hockey competition in the world, has expanded a partnership with paint and coatings manufacturer Sherwin-Williams.

The enhanced deal will run for three seasons, from 2017 to 2019.

Sherwin-Williams will continue to serve as the league’s official paint partner – a role it has held since first linking up with the CHL in March 2015.

In addition, Sherwin-Williams will now take on the title sponsorship rights to the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, which features the top 40 draft-eligible players for North America’s National Hockey League.

CHL president David Branch said: “Through the first 18 months of this partnership, we’ve been more than impressed with Sherwin-Williams and the commitment and care they’ve shown for CHL communities and to our league which makes us proud to continue building this relationship.”
