French Ligue 1 football club Girondins de Bordeaux has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with first aid solutions provider Heartprotekt.
The partnership will result in Heartprotekt’s branding featuring on the left sleeve of Bordeaux’s shirts.
The length of the agreement was not disclosed but the deal will at least cover the remainder of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season.
Bordeaux, which is still searching for a main shirt sponsor, will use Heartprotekt equipment as part of the deal. The club said it will seek to raise awareness of heart ailments through the partnership.
