Boost Mobile connects with Bellator

Mixed martial arts promotion Bellator has entered into a partnership with US telco Boost Mobile.

The long-term deal will provide Boost Mobile with exposure during Bellator television broadcasts. The agreement begins with Saturday’s Bellator 192 event in the US city of Los Angeles.

Bellator said Boost Mobile would act as a key partner in the launch of the series’ virtual reality and digital content opportunities. Content will include fighter walkouts, corner cams, locker rooms and fight footage, as well as custom playlists on Bellator.com.

Boost Mobile will also receive advertising placement inside the Bellator cage during events. In addition, fans will be given the chance to meet fighters and Bellator personalities during meet and greet sessions at Boost Mobile locations throughout the year.

"Boost Mobile has strong roots in supporting mixed martial arts and we are excited to get back into the sport with the collaboration with Bellator," Peiti Feng, director of brand strategy and marketing communications at Boost Mobile, said. "This is a perfect partnership for Boost as the sport aligns well with our competitive spirit and will give our brand amplified visibility with Bellator's passionate and growing fan base."
