Boca Raton Bowl unveils new title sponsor

Fruit juice company Cheribundi Tart Cherry has become the new title sponsor of the Boca Raton Bowl US college American football game.

The agreement will commence with the 2017 game and run through to the 2019 season.

Cheribundi brokered the deal with ESPN Events, a division of US pay-television broadcaster ESPN that owns and operates the game.

Steve Pear, chief executive of Cheribundi, said: “Cheribundi Tart Cherry has been part of a training regimen for muscle rest and recovery to over 200 collegiate and professional sports teams for the past eight years. Given Cheribundi’s deep history with athletes, the association with ESPN and sponsoring the newly named Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl is a natural fit.”

The 2017 Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl will take place on December 19 at Florida Atlantic University’s FAU Stadium.
