Energy company Axion has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Argentinian Superliga football club Boca Juniors.
Axion has agreed a two-year deal with the club, through which its branding will appear on the sleeves of the team’s shirts from July through to June 2020.
The deal comes after the Qatar Airways airline was announced last week as Boca’s new main shirt sponsor. Qatar Airways has signed a five-year deal with the club and will replace financial services company BBVA as its main sponsor.
Agustín Agraz, director of corporate affairs at Axion Energy, told the Infobae website: “We are very happy to announce this partnership with the Boca Juniors Club that allows us to accompany the sport and continue positioning Axion Energy throughout the country.”
