Bluenergy steps up Udinese backing with shirt sponsorship

Gas and electricity supplier Bluenergy Group has opted to upgrade its support of Udinese by becoming a shirt sponsor of the Italian Serie A football club.

Bluenergy branding will now appear on the back of Udinese players’ shirts until the end of the 2019-20 season.

The company in October signed a two-year deal to serve as the official energy partner of the club and provide the team’s Dacia Arena with gas and electricity services.

As part of the expanded deal, Udinese fans will still have access to Bluenergy offers, while the club will also continue to work with the company on various other initiatives.

Alberta Gervasio, general manager of Bluenergy Group, said: “This is not just the sponsorship of a Serie A club, but a wide-ranging project that fits into a company strategy that aims to establish Bluenergy’s sporting vocation and its being, to all intents and purposes, a company rooted in the territory and close to the people.

“Another important reason that pushed us to consolidate the partnership with Udinese is linked to the possibility of benefiting from a wider visibility and promotion of our brand, expanding the audience at a national level.”
