The Samoan Rugby Union, the national governing body of rugby union, has extended a partnership with sporting apparel brand BLK.
The renewal, which will run until the end of 2015, prolongs the partnership between the two parties to six years.
BLK will continue to provide playing and training apparel for the national team.
“There has been much speculation surrounding the Samoan Rugby Union-BLK relationship and it’s fair to say that negotiations have at times been robust,” BLK chief executive Tyron Brant said.
Brant said that South Pacific businessman Lupesina Frederick Grey had been crucial in helping to broker the deal.
