AXS, StubHub partners up with NHL’s Golden Knights

Digital ticketing platform AXS and ticket marketplace StubHub have secured a multi-year partnership with the Las Vegas Golden Knights NHL ice hockey franchise.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that AXS and StubHub will serve as the co-exclusive secondary ticket partners of the team. AXS will also become the franchise’s primary ticket partner.

Golden Knights season ticket-holders will be able to buy and sell tickets on AXS or StubHub, while both companies will receive a portfolio of sponsorship and marketing assets such as social collaborations and digital promotions.

The agreement also covers the T-Mobile Arena, the team’s home, with AXS and StubHub to become the official secondary ticketing partners and official founding partners of the venue in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This section of the agreement will enable customers to link to their StubHub and AXS accounts, access their available tickets, post the tickets for resale, purchase authenticated tickets and scan into events at T-Mobile Arena via the StubHub or AXS Flash Seats Mobile applications.

In addition, AXS and StubHub will benefit from various sponsorship assets inside the arena, including presenting sponsorship entitlement for StubHub to the T-Mobile Arena Box Office.

Todd Pollock, vice-president of ticketing and suites at the Golden Knights, said: “The integration between the AXS Flash Seats technology and StubHub will make it a streamlined process for our fans to buy and sell through these great marketplaces. Furthermore, the reduction of fraudulent tickets will ensure fans have peace of mind when they transact through either of our official marketplaces for Vegas Golden Knights home games."
