Insurance company Aviva has secured partnerships with Canada-based NHL ice hockey teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors.
The company’s Aviva Canada arm will work with both franchises to launch team-branded and fan-focused home and auto insurance programmes.
Aviva said that the new programmes will be the first of their kind in available in Canada, and that the initiative will provide “unique engagement opportunities” with fans of both teams.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
