Media technology provider Avid has agreed a partnership with Glasgow 2018 ahead of the staging of the inaugural edition of the European Championships multi-sport event.
The Scottish city will co-host the Championships with German capital Berlin from August 2-12. Avid will serve as an official supporter of the event in the role of broadcast graphics platform supplier.
Avid will work closely with the Championships' timing, scoring and results providers in a bid to ensure a high quality viewing experience for fans during the event’s debut.
To be staged every four years, Glasgow and Berlin 2018 will combine the continental championships of athletics, aquatics, cycling, golf, gymnastics, rowing and triathlon.
