Malaysian pay-television broadcaster Astro will continue its coverage of the Uefa Champions League and Europa League after striking a carriage deal with rights-holder, pay-television broadcaster beIN Asia Pacific.
The three-season deal will run from 2018-19 to 2020-21. Live matches from both competitions will be shown by Astro on beIN Sports and beIN’s dedicated Uefa channel, beIN Sports Max. Astro’s OTT platform, Astro Go, will also offer beIN Sports’ linear channels.
Astro held rights to the Champions League in the previous three-season cycle, from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
