Safety company Arco has agreed a deal to support this summer’s edition of the European Championships multi-sport event, which will be co-hosted by the Scottish city of Glasgow and Berlin, Germany.
Arco will serve as the official uniform provider for Glasgow 2018. Glasgow will stage aquatics, cycling, golf, gymnastics, rowing and triathlon events, with Berlin due to host athletics competitions.
Arco will provide uniforms for thousands of volunteers and staff working across 12 venues around Scotland. A range of clothing items will be created, such as polo shirts, trousers, softshell jackets, back packs and baseball caps. Arco had a similar partnership in place for the 2012 summer Olympic Games in London.
Arco joins Atos, Gleneagles, Harper Macleod, Avid, NVT Group, Aggreko and Glasgow Airport as Glasgow 2018 sponsors.
The Championships will run from August 2-12.
