Chinese sportswear brand Anta has agreed a deal to sponsor 13 of China’s national winter sports teams.
The agreement will run from 2018 to 2022 – the year Beijing is scheduled to host the winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
According to the Yutang Sports website, Anta will serve as the official sportswear sponsor of the following national teams: short track speed skating, speed skating, figure skating, curling, freestyle ski aerial skills, snowboard big air, snowboard slopestyle, snowboard parallel giant slalom, sledge, bobsled, skeleton, cross-country skiing and alpine skiing.
The agreement becomes effective on August 1, 2018 and runs until July 31, 2022. Anta was reportedly the only company to respond to a tender issued by China’s General Administration of Sport in January.
