Naming rights and venue sponsorship can be a significant source of revenue for venue owners and operators, but it is a controversial one and can be difficult to attain. According to Forbes, multi-use sports venues can derive as much as four per cent of total revenue from naming rights with other venue sponsorships contributing an average of 10 per cent of overall income.
