The International Olympic Committee announced yesterday that baseball5 (short-form baseball game) and wushu (martial art) will be added to the Dakar 2022 Youth Olympic Games sport programme, at the request of the Games' organising committee.
The IOC also announced that it has approved the dates of the event, which will run from October 22 to November 9, 2022, in the Senegalese capital of Dakar. It will be the fourth edition of the Youth Olympic Games, and the first to take place in Africa.
