World Sailing backs governance reform plans

The board of World Sailing has unanimously approved the first report from its Governance Commission, stating there is a “profound and compelling” need to change the governance of the international federation.

World Sailing, the world governing body of the sport, is undertaking a governance review and the latest meeting marks another step on its modernisation plan. The Board approved the objectives for the governance review, proposed by the Commission.
