Jacopo Volpi has been appointed as sports director of Italian public broadcaster Rai, replacing Alessandra De Stefano who stepped down from the role in March.
Volpi joined Rai in 1979 and has worked as a journalist and presenter for the broadcaster, covering football and volleyball among other sports.
