Spanish football club Villarreal has renewed its contract with its kit supplier, sportwear brand Joma.

The extension builds on an association which first began at the start of the 2016-17 season, with a four-year contract running until the end of the 2019-20 season.

The previous contract was worth approximately €4m ($4.5m) per season, as detailed by SportBusiness Soccer.

As part of the agreement, Joma supplies the team’s kit and all sporting equipment utilised by the club. In addition, the brand is granted the excusive rights to the marketing of the club’s kit.

Joma is a Spanish company based in Toledo and also has a commercial presence in over 100 countries.

It also has a wider presence in the LaLiga kit supplier market, holding the designation at SD Eibar, CD Leganes and Getafe CF.
